ITCP-CIPP RECERTIFICATION

System owners rely on and expect quality installation or rehabilitation when maintaining their assets, which is why it’s essential that they have knowledgeable inspectors on the job.  To be sure those inspectors are on the cutting edge in the appropriate technologies, they are required to become recertified on a regular basis, either online or in a classroom.

Certification is valid for 5 years from the date of issuance.  In order to maintain certification, all certified individuals are required to recertify prior to their expiration date.

If your certification has expired, you will be required to attend an initial certification session as a new student.

There are a few options when recertifying. You may choose the best option for you:

  1. Online with a self-paced course
    •  Login to your existing account
    • If you are within 6 months of your expiration date, but not past it, you will have access to purchase the online recertification course
  2. In a trainer-led 1.5 day session(virtual or in-person).  
    • Search the course catalog and register for the session of your choice

All recertifying individuals will get a new manual with the purchase of a recertification course.

NASSCO offers a limited number of discounts to NASSCO members for self-paced, online recertification courses and any public, trainer-led recertification courses in the catalog. As long as you are an employee of an active member company you may qualify for a discount.  Contact your primary representative for more information or email support@nassco.org for assistance.

Recertification Course Fees include a copy of the current manual:

  • Online Recertification: $500
  • 1.5-Day Classroom Recertification:  $1,195

Online recertification is a self-paced program that can be completed over 60 days.  Virtual recertification is a trainer-led course using a video classroom.

*NOTE – All recertifications must be completed prior to certificate expiration.  

Yes.  NASSCO offers CEUs through the University of Texas, Arlington.  We also offer CEUs through select states.

Credits through the University of Texas, Arlington can be requested upon enrollment for a session.  If you require credit after the fact or would like to request state credits (extra fees apply), you may request them up to 12 months after course completion by filling out the CEU Request Form.

  • Online Recertification (0.45 CEU/4.5 PDH) 
  • 1.5-Day Classroom Recertification (1.35 CEU/13.5 PDH)
