Protecting your private information is NASSCO’s priority. This Privacy Policy applies to the NASSCO website located at www.nassco.org and NASSCO, Inc. (collectively “NASSCO”) and governs data collection, processing and usage. The NASSCO website is an industry association website. NASSCO does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

NASSCO may share your information and data with trusted partners to process for the purpose of providing services or products to you that you have requested, including but not limited to perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, engage in billing or paying processing, generate identification cards (including certification identification cards) or arrange for deliveries. Furthermore, NASSCO may share the results of courses (i.e. pass or fail) and other relevant information with the course purchaser, such as your employer, as well as list display your information and your photo (for identification purposes) on lists of certified professionals on the NASSCO websites.

If applicable to you, NASSCO may also share your information on the NASSCO websites, including but not limited to your name, company, address, certification number, original certification date, certification expiration date, as well as photographs, pictures, and electronic images depicting you or your likeness. You hereby provide NASSCO the non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs, pictures, and electronic images submitted by you to NASSCO, or taken at a NASSCO event, for any purpose designated by NASSCO. You waive any right to inspect or approve the use of any such photographs, pictures, and electronic images.

NASSCO may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on NASSCO; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of NASSCO; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of NASSCO, or the public.

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by NASSCO. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the NASSCO websites. NASSCO strives to take reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access to, theft, misuse, or alteration of your personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. NASSCO will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which we obtained your personal information as well as any other purposes permitted by law, and otherwise in compliance with NASSCO’s data retention policies. Children Under Thirteen

NASSCO does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen.
