Certification Courses
BSDI™
The self-paced online course takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete and covers the general approach to an inspection, how to complete the BSDI inspection report, and assessment codes and associated requirements for a proper BSDI inspection. While BSDI and NASSCO’s Lateral Inspection Certification Program (LACP™) are both used to inspect laterals, BSDI inspections typically start from inside or very close to the building and go down through the lateral toward the sewer main, whereas LACP inspections typically start from inside the sewer main and go up through the lateral toward the building, without going into it.
Drain Cleaning
NASSCO’s Drain Cleaning Certification Course, which takes
approximately 1.5 hours to complete in a self-paced, online format, is specifically
designed for professionals involved in cleaning building sewers and drains or laterals. It
provides the methodology to standardize the cleaning process to ensure building sewers
and drains are cleaned safely and thoroughly, while avoiding damage to underground
infrastructure.
